As with the standard bottling, we don't know what distilleries have been used for the Timorous Beastie recipe - but we do know that just 297 bottles of this 20-year-old Timorous Beastie were released at what we're going to presume was a natural strength of 42.7%. As ever with Douglas Laing, the whole package looks great and the whisky has been bottled without colouring or chill filtration, so this is odds-on to be a tremendous drop, timorous or otherwise.

Palate: The palate delivers big impact – complex spices and sweet, oaky depth run to a finish that boasts immense vanilla, spicy cinnamon and sawn wood.
