The Bailie Nicol Jarvie Special Blend 1990s 1.13 Litres
Blended Scotch Whisky 1.13 Litres / 40%
Nicol Anderson & Co Ltd
An old bottle of the much-loved Bailie Nicol Jarvie blended Scotch whisky. This edition dates most likely from the 1980s or very early 1990s and was bottled at the unusual size of 1.13 litres, just shy of two UK pints.
Bailie Nicol Jarvie was a historic blended Scotch whisky originally created in the 1880s by Glasgow firm Nicol Anderson, and once boasted the highest malt whisky content of any blended whisky. In 1921 the brand came under the ownership of Macdonald Muir (who later became The Glenmorangie Co.), who relaunched the blend in 1994 but finally discontinued Bailie Nicol Jarvie in 2014.
