The Antiquary 12-year-old is an historic brand of deluxe blended scotch whisky with roots going back to the 1880s. 

Absorbed by Diageo forerunner DCL in 1918, The Antiquary still boasts an extremely high malt content rumoured to be almost 50%, and was for many decades associated with the Benromach distillery before being bought by Tomatin in the mid-1990s.
