An old bottle of Old Pulteney Navigator, a recurring limited edition which made its debut in 2013 and last appeared around 2018. As the name suggest, Old Pulteney Navigator was a tribute to the sailing and shipping industries, and of course a nod to the heritage of Pulteney distillery's hometown of Wick, one of the world's most important herring ports.
Old Pulteney Navigator was a mix of ex-bourbon & sherry casks and is a lively expression of Pulteney, with lots of fragrant coastal touches, citrus, a little spicy vanilla and a light sweetness running thoughout. Bottled at 46% and always good value, this was a NAS distillery bottling done the right way.
