Nc'Nean Huntress 2022 is a special limited edition organic Highland malt whisky from Scotland's greenest distillery and has been bottled without colouring or chill filtration at 48.5%, a little stronger than their regular batches of Nc'nean Organic.
Nc'Nean Huntress 2022 differs in other ways from the distillery's standard releases - most notably, the spirit recipe is described as Light and Tropical rather than Light and Fruity, while the cask recipe has a slightly higher proportion of ex-bourbon casks, although the distillery's favourite STR (Shaved, Toasted, Recharred) Bordeaux red wine casks still make up the majority of the wood used.
The whisky for Nc'Nean Huntress was distilled in August 2018 and bottled in March 2022, so this is a little older than most Nc'Nean releases, and the batch size is smaller too, at just 4447 bottles.
