This 11-year-old Mortlach 2014 100-Proof matured in a small batch of first fill Oloroso sherry butts and refill hogsheads and was bottled by Signatory in 2026 without colouring or chill filtration at a hefty 57.1% strength, equivalent to 100-Proof in the old UK imperial measurements. Mortlach’s beefy worm tub-cooled spirit loves a sherry cask and the distillery’s whisky is a byword for consistency, so this really looks like a sure bet for sherried Speyside fans.
