Vintage Brut Champagne 750ml / 12.5%

A bottle of Dom Perignon, the prestige vintage Champagne by Moët & Chandon. This is the 1995 vintage of Dom Perignon, which was released for the first time in early 2002 after six years of ageing on its lees.

1995 was a very good vintage for Champagne, with a warm summer making up for a wet spring. Dom Perignon's 1995 vintage was an assemblage with a 52/48 ratio of Chardonnay to Pinot Noir, and shows exotic and dried citrus fruit alongside a rich nuttiness. This should be drinking absolutely beautifully now.
