Meikle Toir 5-year-old The Chinquapin One was first released in autumn 2023 as one of four different editions of peated single malt whisky from Glenallachie distillery in Speyside.

Glenallachie's Meikle Toir peated whisky has an extended fermentation time of 160 hours and a spirit phenolicity of 35ppm. This Chiquapin 5-year-old from Meikle Toir matured, as the name suggests, in Chinquapin virgin oak casks from Missouri and is bottled at a hearty 48% for plenty of oomphy peated Speyside flavours.
