Time for another Mannochmore, and this one looks like great value - A Mannochmore 2009 bottled as an 11-year-old in 2021 at 48% by Elixir Distillers for their small batch Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Casks series.

Mannochmore is one of those Diageo distilleries that until recently attracted very little attention because so much of it went to blending, but is now being rediscovered thanks to the efforts of indie bottlers like Elixir sourcing good casks for whisky fans like us. The future looks bright for reliable quality distilleries like Mannochmore.
