Continuing the very welcome trend of worthy but previously unexplored Diageo distilleries appearing at indie bottlers, here's a very promising refill hogshead of Mannochmore 2008 from North Star, bottled in 2021 as a 12-year-old at 54.5%.
Refill casks are the best vessels for technically excellent Speyside drams like Mannochmore, and by the colour of this one it must have been a pretty active cask. This should be a splendid drop at a great price.
