Macallan Edition Number 3 was released in 2017 and is a collaboration between Macallan's Master Whisky Maker Bob Dalgarno and Master Perfumer Roja Dove.

For Macallan Edition Number 3, Dalgarno and Dove worked together to select a finely-balanced mix of Macallan's first fill and second fill hogsheads, puncheons, sherry butts and a small percentage of ex-bourbon barrels to create a very tasty mix of fruit, oak and spicy flavours, bottled at a robust 48.3% to give a robust, flavoursome dram.
