A limited edition Macallan Art Is The Flower Speyside single malt whisky inspired by Scottish artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Macallan Art Is The Flower takes its name from Mackintosh's 1902 essay 'On Seemliness', which includes the lines:

"Art is the Flower - Life is the Green Leaf.
Let every artist strive to make his flower a beautiful living thing"

The packaging for Macallan Art Is The Flower is lettered with Mackintosh's instantly recognisable font and features detail from his stained glass masterpiece The Spirit of the Rose. The whisky itself was matured in sherry-seasoned oak casks and bottled without colouring at a very hearty strength of 50.4%. One of the most interesting and exciting new Macallans we've seen for a while.
