The 2021 release of Macallan's 30-year-old Double Cask, which is aged in Oloroso sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks.

Macallan's Double Cask whiskies are stylistically in the middle of the distillery's core range: heavier than the Triple Cask series but not as full-on as the Sherry Oak releases, with toffee, dried fruit, and cake spices on a backbone of elegant oak.

Palate: A smooth melody of cinnamon, ginger, Madagascan vanilla, dried fruits and oak.
