An old litre bottle of Macallan 1991 Elegancia bottled in 2003. Elegancia was a short-lived official Macallan bottled for the Travel Retail market between 2002-2008.

Elegancia's point of difference from standard Macallan was that it wasn't matured in 100% Oloroso sherry casks. Instead, a selection of both Oloroso and Fino sherry casks were used for the assemblage. This Macallan 1991 Elegancia was one of the early editions - the vintage statements were dropped in 2005 - and was the last Macallan Elegancia in the old style bottle before the range was revamped in 2004.
