A small batch Ledaig 2008 12-year-old Island single malt whisky released by independent bottlers Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice Wood Finished series in 2020. Ledaig is the peated whisky made at Tobermory distillery on the Hebridean island of Mull.

This 12-year-old Ledaig 2008 was designated Batch 20/074, with the whisky ageing initially i
n refill sherry hogsheads before being finished in Hermitage casks for the final three years of maturation. Hermitage is a famous Syrah red wine made in the Rhone region of France, so expect spicy cherry and black fruit notes alongside Ledaig's trademark phenolic meaty funk.
