A special Laphroaig Cairdeas Islay single malt whisky released during the 2022 Feis Ile, the annual Islay whisky festival, as a celebration of the distillery's iconic Warehouse 1.

This special edition Laphroaig Cairdeas (the name means 'friendship' and is a nod to the distillery's Friends of Laphroaig whisky club) was matured entirely in first fill bourbon casks from Maker's Mark (one of Laphroaig's sister distilleries in owner Suntory's expanding portfolio) and was a limited edition selected entirely from casks in the famous Warehouse 1, a large four-storey edifice right on the Islay shoreline by the distillery. Laphroaig Cairdeas Feis Ile 2022 was bottled at a poky 52.2% and is a lively dram in the modern Laphroaig style.
