A special bottle of Cairdeas, Laphroaig's Feis Ile whisky release - this is from the Islay Festival 2015, when Laphroaig were celebrating their 200th anniversary.

This particular Laphroaig Cairdeas was distilled in 2003 under John Campbell and was earmarked from birth for the bicentenary celebrations. Wanting to create a truly old-school Laphroaig for the anniversary, John used only heavily-peated barley from Laphroaig's own floor maltings and distilled it in the small spirit stills before maturing the spirit in bourbon casks in Warehouse No.1. The resulting whisky is considerably more smoky than even Laphroaig fans are used to, and was bottled at a potent but not overpowering 51.5%.
