This Symington's Choice 25-year-old Laphroaig 1998 came from single cask 10493, one of a pair of sister single bourbon barrels bottled at the same time (the other one is Cask 10495), and yielded slightly fewer bottles (171) at the slightly higher natural cask strength of 54.3%. Indie Laphroaig 25-year-old doesn't come round too often; deep-pocketed Laphroaig fans would be well advised to grab both of these gems.
