The third and final batch of Lagg's Inaugural Single Malt releases was a batch of 10,000 bottles of the distillery's heavily peated spirit distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2022 at 50% without colouring or chill filtration.

While Batch 1 of Lagg Inaugural Single Malt was matured entirely in bourbon barrels and Batch 2 was sherry-finished, for Batch 3 the whisky was matured in ex-bourbon barrels for 30 months before being reracked into tiny 50 litre ex-Rioja red wine charred casks for its final six months of ageing. A hearty dram combining smoky, sooty phenols with berry and cooked red fruit hints.
