Ladyburn 1973-2000 | 27 Year Old Single Cask 4525
Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 50.4%
An old bottle of single cask Ladyburn 1973 27-year-old Lowland single malt whisky. This edition was bottled in 2000 at a hearty 50.4% from an ex-bourbon cask number 4525.
Ladyburn is one of Scotland's rarest single malt whiskies, with the distillery in production only for nine years between 1966-75 within the Girvan grain complex owned by William Grant's. This 1973 Ladyburn 27-year-old was one of 3000 bottles released from around twenty casks in 2000, and was originally believed to be the last of the distillery's maturing stock, although subsequently several straggler casks turned up from indie bottlers (often labelled as Ayrshire) and Grant's themselves.
