This 13-year-old Knockdhu 2012 came from single cask 800068 and was finished in a ruby port hogshead cask, before being bottled without colouring or chill filtration with an outturn of 324 bottles at an extremely sturdy natural cask strength of 57%. Knockdhu distillery’s official bottlings of single malt whisky are sold as An Cnoc and indie versions have always been thin on the ground, so this is a pleasant surprise.
