This 16-year-old Knockdhu 2008 came from single cask 7, a second fill Oloroso sherry butt that turned out a generous 677 bottles at a very hearty natural cask strength of 56.9%. Knockdhu distillery’s wares are more familiar to most whisky fans as AnCnoc, who don’t bottle many full strength editions themselves, so this is a good opportunity for AnCnoc fans.
