The fourth edition of Kilchoman's Small Batch series - and it really is a small batch, with just 1260 bottles produced, bottled at 49.8% without colouring or chill filtration.
Matured in a combination of 70% ex-bourbon casks, 25% STR (Shaved, Toasted, Recharred) casks and the remaining 5% Oloroso sherry matured Kilchoman, for this batch, the bourbon casks were reduced to 46% before vatting and the STR cask went into the vat at full strength to emphasise its flavours and maximise its influence. A punchy, full-flavoured Islay treat.

Nose: Classic Kilchoman citrus sweetness gives way to red berries, baking spices with waves of peat smoke and herbal notes.
Palate: Summer fruit and red grape sweetness, white chocolate, light hints of smokiness, charred pineapple and toffee.
Finish: Long lingering smoky finish.
