Established in only 2005 Kavalan is the old name of the Yilan county where the distillery is located. Even though relatively new in whisky terms Kavalan whisky ages quickly due to the warm and humid climate it matures in.

This Kavalan Solist port cask bottling is aged in a single port cask and bottled at cask strength this brings in dark fruit flavours with the usual tropical fruit flavour that Kavalan is known for.
