An old bottle of Isle of Jura 1999 Single Cask, one of a small, short-lived series of Isle of Jura Boutique Barrels released between 2010-2013.

This particular Boutique Barrels Jura 1999 single cask is of special interest, as it was a bourbon cask bottling of the distillery's peated spirit (listed as 30ppm on the label), which had debuted a few years earlier to enormous success. The Boutique Barrels are one of the most interesting set of official Jura releases this century, it's really a shame the series was discontinued so quickly.
