Isle of Raasay make both peated and unpeated spirit, and age both kinds in three different cask types - fresh Chinkapin oak, first fill Rye whiskey barrels and first fill red wine casks - before assembling all six combinations together for this single malt whisky.
Isle of Raasay R-02 was bottled at 46.4% without colouring or chill filtration and was just as popular as the first release. A terrific dram for its age.
