Raasay are more familiar to many for their splendid single malt whisky, but the company has been making gin since the early days of the distillery while they were waiting for the whisky to come of age. Alongside some local juniper, botanicals in the mix include orris root, citrus peel, rhubarb and coriander.

Nose: Fresh and aromatic, with juniper, citrus and a hint of rhubarb.

Palate: Dry with a burst of juniper, orange and a richer rhubarb note.

Finish: Dry and zesty.
