As with many indie-bottled Irish single malt whiskies, the distillery of origin of Darkness 14-year-old Irish Single Malt must remain a mystery.

We do know, however, that this Darkness Irish single malt whiskey was aged 14 years in ex-bourbon casks before a finishing period in Octave casks recoopered from an Oloroso sherry butt, and that it's been bottled at natural cask strength without any colouring or chill-filtration. At 57.6% this is going to pack a powerful, flavoursome punch.
