A single cask of Imperial 1996 27-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2023 without colouring or chill filtration by independent bottlers Adelphi for their Adelphi Limited series celebrating the company’s 30th Anniversary..

This 27-year-old Imperial 1996 came from single cask 3411, a refill bourbon barrel that yielded 187 bottles at a lip-smacking natural cask strength of 52.4%. Imperial is one of the undeservedly obscure lost Speyside distilleries, and thankfully independent bottlings are still appearing relatively regularly despite the distillery closing in 1998, just a couple of years after this outstanding single cask was filled.
