A sourced peated Irish single malt whiskey released by Northern Ireland's Hinch distillery while they're waiting for their own whiskey to mature.  This is from the Hinch distillery's stash of maturing stock from other Irish distilleries and is a heavily peated triple-distilled Irish single malt of undisclosed age from ex-bourbon barrels.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Sweet tar and a smoky, woodish nose with immediate strong peat flavours on the palate.

Taste: Immediate strong peat flavours with lingering and nuanced fruit undertones which survive the peat storm.

Finish: A hint of liquorice comes through on the palate as the peat gently mellows awaiting your next sip.
