A mystery Highland single malt whisky from South Star, the new venture from Iain Croucher's North Star Spirits. South Star Highland 2011 10-year-old is the first in the company's Highland Series of bottlings.

Released in early 2022, South Star Highland is a 10-year-old single malt whisky assembled from a batch of 10 hogshead casks of the 2011 vintage bottled at 48%. This should be terrific stuff.

Nose: Dried oranges with a whiff of tobacco.

Palate: Thick, nutty dark chocolate.

Finish: Long, nutty and very chewy.
