Hatozaki Pure Malt is one of a pair of blended Hatozaki whiskies created by Kaikyo distillery's owner and master blender Kimio Yonezawa while the distillery's new spirit matures.

Hatozaki Pure Malt is created from 100% malt whiskies of both Japanese and foreign origin which are matured in a variety of cask types as they mature and marry, including ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and mizunara Japanese oak casks, and is bottled at 46% without colouring or chill filtration.

Round, generous and unpeated. The sweet taste of malted cereals and dried fruit are uplifted by a light smoky undertone and an aromatic honey finish on the palate.
