Glenugie 1967-1995 | Connoisseurs Choice

Glenugie 1967-1995 | Connoisseurs Choice

Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 40%

Distilled in 1967 and bottled in 1995 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice series. Glenugie, previously called Invernettie was mainly produced to be used in blends but has an awesome reputation for single malt bottlings, many of those independent bottlings.

Sadly Glenugie fell victim of the mass distillery closures in the 1980s but you can enjoy plenty of Independent bottlings that are able to be picked up today, like this example.

The Connoisseurs Choice series is an iconic series that started in 1968. To date, around 100 distilleries have been featured as part of the range, with over 2,000 individual bottlings.
