Glenlochy 1974 Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice
Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 75cl / 40%
An old bottle of Glenlochy 1974 Highland single malt whisky bottled in the mid-1990s by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice range with the classic old map label presentation of the day.
Glenlochy’s single malt whisky was a blenders’ favourite that was never officially bottled during its lifetime, and the distillery was closed in 1983 during the whisky lake crisis by owners Distillers Company Limited (DCL), who later morphed into Diageo. The Glenlochy distillery was based in Fort William in the western Highlands, which once had three active distilleries; today, only Ben Nevis survives.
