Glenglassaugh Sandend was introduced in summer 2023 as part of a trio of releases celebrating the return of this top class Highland distillery, which was mothballed between 1986 and 2008.
Now enjoying one of the first periods in recent decades where the distillery has a good quantity of maturing stock over ten years old, Glenglassaugh has returned with three new core range bottlings including Glenglassaugh Sandend, which was matured in a mix of ex-bourbon, sherry and Manzanilla sherry casks and bottled at a robust 50.5%. This will be a treat for fans of characterful Highland drams.
