Glenglassaugh Portsoy was introduced in summer 2023 as part of the distillery's revamped core range alongside Glenglassaugh Sandend and the flagship 12-year-old.

Bottled at a perky 49.1%, Glenglassaugh Portsoy was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, sherry and port casks expertly selected and blended by Brown Forman Master Blender Rachel Barrie. A rich Highland malt whisky from a distillery whose very welcome revival has been a long time coming.

Colour: Deep amber.

Nose: Rich maritime waves infused with tropical fruit and sherried dark soy, rolling into port with liquorice and sea kelp.

Palate: Full-bofied with dark chocolate, fermented soy and charred mango with treacle and a crack of sea salt.
