Glenglassaugh 12 Year Old
Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 45%
The relaunched Glenglassaugh 12-year-old was revealed in summer 2023 as part of the Glenglassaugh distillery's updated core range, which also included Glenglassaugh Sandend and Glenglassaugh Portsoy.
This 2023 edition of Glenglassaugh 12-year-old was bottled at 45% from a mix of bourbon, sherry and red wine casks selected and blended by Master Blender Rachel Barrie.
The 2023 core range for Glenglassaugh features revamped packaging and of course is a very welcome return for a distillery that was in the doldrums prior to being revived first in 2008 by Scaent group and then by Billy Walker from 2013-2016 before current owners Brown Forman took over - the relaunch of the core range and this flagship 12-year-old expression are significant milestones for the distillery and we're delighted to see them.
