An exciting 1993 Glenfarclas 26-year-old released in Summer 2020 for the distillery's Family Cask series. Cask #4677 was a fourth fill sherry butt that produced 443 bottles at a natural cask strength of 57.2%.

It's great that Glenfarclas are able to keep the Family Casks range relevant after all these years, with a variety of different cask types to interest even the most jaded of whisky fans. Previous Family Cask fourth fill casks - such as the superb 1979 hogsheads - have been revelatory, and there's no reason to believe that this 26-year-old Glenfarclas 1993 Family Cask will be anything other than an utterly superb.
