This non chill filtered, natural colour 25-year-old Glendronach 1994 came from single cask 5086, a sherry puncheon selected for hand bottling in the distillery shop, and has a beautiful deep chestnut natural colour and a reassuringly sturdy cask strength of 54.7%. The sections of Glendronach's warehouses housing their mid-1990s sherry casks have proven to be a very happy hunting ground for single cask bottlings over the years and this one is another classic example of the distillery's Highland magic.
