This 21-year-old Glendronach was bottled from single cask 39, a fresh oloroso sherry butt that yielded 567 bottles at its massive natural cask strength of 58.8%. Another minor masterpiece from Glendronach's ever impressive stable of single casks, with a typically thrilling melee of earthiness, balsamico, dark chocolate and tannic spice. Brilliant whisky.
