Glenburgie 2012-2021 | 8 Year Old Cooper's Choice Single Cask 128
Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Cooper's Choice 70cl / 54.5%
There's been quite a few Glenburgies cropping up of late, which is always nice as it's an under-appreciated distillery. The good thing about that, of course, is that Glenburgie's whiskies are generally very good value.
Here's a Glenburgie 2012, bottled as an 8-year-old by Cooper's Choice in 2021 at 54.5% after a finishing period in a cask of Marsala fortified wine. It's a handsome gold colour and must have picked up some nice sweet fruit flavours from the residual wine in the cask.
