Glenburgie is often unfairly overlooked, being a modest Speyside distillery knocking out worthy blending fodder for owners Pernod Ricard. The increasing amount of indie Glenburgie appearing these days is therefore cause for celebration.

Here we have an 8-year-old Glenburgie from the 2012 vintage, bottled from a small batch of bourbon barrels by Morrison Distillers for their Carn Mor Strictly Limited series at 47.5%. It's unlikely to change your world, but it will be a great value young Speyside and that's good enough for us.
