Glenallachie 9-year-old Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish is a limited edition Speyside single malt whisky launched in April 2024 as part of the distillery's Wood Collection series.

This is one of a trio of bottlings in the first tranche of the Glenallachie Wood Collection range, all of which are finished in different types of sherry cask. This Oloroso edition was accompanied by two other releases finished in Fino and Amontillado casks, with a further three bottlings due to follow later in 2024.

Glenallachie 9-year-old Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish has been bottled at 48% without colouring or chill filtration and looks like terrific value.

Nose: Heather honey, mocha and dried apricots, with notes of cinnamon butter, red velvet cake and marzipan.

Taste: Dark chocolate, honeycomb and butterscotch, leading to dried red berries, ginger and damsons, with poached apples and muscovado sugar.
