Glenallachie 9-year-old Fino Sherry Cask Finish Speyside single malt whisky was launched in Spring 2024 as part of the distillery's streamlined Wood Collection range.

Bottled at a sturdy 48% without colouring or chill filtration, Glenallachie 9-year-old Fino Sherry Finish was one of three initial releases in the Wood Collection, with the remaining three editions to be launched later in 2024. Fino is the driest style of sherry, and this should have a delicious nutty, salty tang.

Nose: Nutmeg, heather honey and vanilla extract, with butterscotch, green apple peel, stone fruits and roasted almonds.

Taste: Dried apricots, honeycomb and butterscotch, followed by baking spices, marzipan and caramel, with orchard fruits and citrus on the finish.
