This 12-year-old Glenallachie 2010 came from a single Oloroso puncheon cask #804024, which yielded a generous 719 bottles at an exceptionally hefty natural cask strength of 61.7%. This one's not going to be for the faint-hearted, but fans of sherry monsters need look no further.

Colour: Intense Mahogany.

Nose: Waves of heather honey, fruit & nut chocolate, ginger and baking spices, with notes of espresso and vanilla.

Palate: Bursting with nutmeg, hazelnuts and butterscotch, followed by apple peel, chocolate shavings and dark roast coffee.
