This whisky is part of the new Wood Finish Series from Billy Walkers Glenallachie Distillery. 

It was first matured for over 8 years in American oak wood barrels and then re-racked into richly seasoned Ruby Portwood pipes and bottled at 48%. The port wood finish adds depth and complexity to an already tremendous spirit.

This whisky is complex and full of depth and vibrant fruit. Delicious!

Palate: A flood of heather honey, butterscotch and treacle, with damson, rosehip and dark chocolate.
