Glenallachie 10-year-old Cask Strength is always an event, and we're delighted to welcome Batch 7 to our virtual shelves for what will no doubt be a sweet but exceptionally short stay.

Previous batches of this modern classic Glenallachie have swept up awards including World's Best Single Malt at the World Whisky Awards 2021 for Batch 4, so demand will be brisk to say the least.

The cask recipe for Batch 7 of Glenallachie 10-year-old Cask Strength is the same as Batch 6, with a mix of Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks, virgin oak and Rioja red wine barriques creating the famous complexity and depth of flavour.

Nose: Waves of heather honey, dried fruit, cinnamon and nutmeg, followed by orange peel, mocha and treacle.

Palate: Lashings of dark chocolate, figs and heather honey, with raisins, cinnamon, plums and hints of orange zest.
