Glen Spey 2006-2022 | 15 Year Old Infrequent Flyers Cask 4830
Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: The Alistair Walker Whisky Company 70cl / 54.5%
A 15-year-old Glen Spey 2006 bottled in 2022 without colouring or chill filtration by Alistair Walker Whisky Co. for their Infrequent Flyers series.
This Glen Spey 2006 15-year-old was bottled from Cask 4830, a virgin oak finishing cask that yielded 237 bottles at a strength of 54.5%. Glen Spey is a distillery we don't see much of, as the vast majority of its output is used for owner Diageo's J&B blended whisky - in fact, this is the first Glen Spey we've added in 2022.

Tasting Notes
Official Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright copper.
Nose: Sweet balsamic glaze. Soft marzipan and coconut ice cream.
Palate: An explosion of rum and raisin fudge! Yes! Nuff said. Really creamy, with vanilla and soft toffee. Underlying toasted brown sugar notes. Some spiciness too - cinnamon and cloves.
