The Mermaid is a special edition Glen Scotia 12-year-old released in 2023 as the first release in the distillery's new Icons of Campbeltown series.

Glen Scotia 12-year-old The Mermaid was assembled from a small batch of the distillery's unpeated whisky, and was finished in casks that previously held Palo Cortado (a rare style of medium-dry sherry) before being bottled without colouring or chill filtration at its natural strength of 54.1%.
