There's little that gladdens our hearts more than an indie Glen Ord, especially a young bourbon cask-matured Glen Ord at a sensible strength from a great bottler.

That's what we're looking at here, with this 8-year-old Glen Ord 2012, bottled from a small batch of bourbon barrels at 47.5% by Morrison Distillers for their Carn Mor Strictly Limited series. All the evidence suggests this will be excellent, and it's great value too.
